Removing Old Shared Team folders from my device.

I have folders on my desktop Dropbox that were shared with me several years ago when i was part of a transactional team. when i try to delete from my computer, i am told i dont have access. when i logged into dropbox account, the folders dont show up anywhere. how do i remove these folders?

If you try to temporarily sign out of the app, and then try to delete the folder, do you notice any difference?
