Delete, edit, and organize
Solve issues with deleting, editing, and organizing files and folders in your Dropbox account with support from the Dropbox Community.
When I try editting a .docx file with Word Online, the message "Couldn't save automatically..." keeps appearing and all my progress gets lost. Is there any way to solve this problem?
Hi @gobenavides, thanks for messaging the Community!
Are you experiencing this on all files on your account? How much free quota do you have left on this page?
Could you try switching browsers to see if this helps? Otherwise, use incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely.
This will help me assist further!

I have 192.61 MB left. EDIT: Now I have 1.75 GB left.
This is happening with all my .docx files.
Yes, I have tried with Firefox and Google Chrome, using incognito mode, and deleting the cache and cookies. All of them don't solve my solution.
Hey @gobenavides, did you also check how much space you have left in your Dropbox account?
Also, a screenshot of the error message would be super helpful.
