how to lock folders from moving to to other files accidently

Hi guys 

i need some help 

today an accident happen , a folder of 47 GB has been moved to another folder accidently and it has already synced on the user which did this and all other users have started syncing it . 47 GB aint a small space lol takes time to sync it in multiple devices 

 

so is there anyway i can lock the folders from moving here and there while the other members can access it and edit it and all except for moving

    Although you can lock a file or a folder from being moved, that would also prevent users from editing it. 

     

    I understand though that you'd simply want to lock an item into place. 

     

    For this reason, you can have a look at this thread where other users have also expressed a similar interest. 

     

    There, you can upvote the idea and comment alongside other like-minded users.
