I just don't understand the point of telling people to register their requests for smaller, cheaper plans in some other thread when DROPBOX IS NOT LISTENING.
I think you could introduce smaller storage plans such as 500G and 1T before obliging your customers to purchase an UNNECESSARY 2T storage. It doesn't make any sens to make customers buy UNNECESSARY storage and makes pay $15.99 + taxes for something impossed to us.
PLEASE Try to be more flexible to make customers happier by giving them more options whithin your product choises.
Look, as a student who need a app which able to access to the files that I want by all my drvices, Dropbox has been used for more than 3 years, I earn almost 12GB in there and I still looking for earning more space in the dropbox without paying it, and why is this happening? It's not because that I don't want to pay it, I am paying the Apple Icloud A$1.49 for 50GB storage space per month, there isn't a suitable choose for the small users in dropbox, I mean look at your plans, do I really need 1TB storage? not really, I am using the one which only have less than 12GB now. Do I need that much funtions of the plans? I think the Dropbox Basic is enough.
So then when the limited device association is set up, the advantage of the dropbox is losing, people have their laptop for working, a computer at home, an iphone and ipad, and that's already 4 devices, how about cutting off some of the funtions of the dropbox basic and make it like google drive which give 15GB free space to users, does it actually make the people paying the plan which cost more than half of the A$30 plan they are using with their SIM card and it is a huge waste of their money because they don't need that much space and functions? How about buying a USB drive or a 1TB/500GB mobile hard drive to bring with or just put it in google drive or build up a NAS at home, will this a better choose ?
I am writing this just to say stop doing these things that undermine your competitive advantage, make some plan for the small users rather than push to the limits, that's the first time I want to complain the dropbox.
I will still unlink a device and link the one I am using everytime when the limited up until it's banned to do and if the plan doesn't come out, it could be the date I consider to stop supporting the Dropbox.
I'm a google one user too and i want to change my account to dropbox but i dont have an account that is similar to the service that i pay monthly . I got 200 gb for 3$ at month, so i dont need to pay 11$ 2tb if i have my account free at 50% now.
Hi, I love Dropbox and have been using it for years. He never let me down and always saved me in important moments that I needed. However, Brazil has been suffering from the rising dollar. As Dropbox plans are quoted in dollars, it is becoming virtually impossible to renew your subscription as an individual in Brazil. Today there is a basic 2 GB plan and a 2 TB intermediary. I would like to suggest that a plan be created with intermediate storage capacity, somewhere between 150 GB and 300 GB and that the value of the plan be more accessible for us in Brazil. I don't want to subscribe to other cloud backup services, I want to stay with Dropbox, so I would like you to consider this suggestion with affection.
Mr(s). Dropbox Pricing analyst, I was checking the plans and I see that the lowest value is at ($ 119.00) to grant 2 TB (2,048 GB) for a year. It is a lot of money for particular Latin American users, even worse for Venezuelan people, it is also a lot of space. Having said that, here comes the indecent proposition: 100 Gb would cost $ 5.80 a year, what if Dropbox charges $ 10.00 a year for the same 100 GB, more expensive per GB to the user, but accessible to users individuals down here in the south. It would be really nice of Dropbox to have those kinds of fees. Thank you very much for reading a proposal like this ...Simon Rodriguez
I am weighing the options of purchasing more storage space between dropbox and Microsoft one cloud but find dropbox to be very highly priced compared to one cloud. I think during this time( global pandamic) you should offer a good discount to convert your free customers to paid ones. Please compare your pricing with Microsoft One cloud to get a good idea where your potential customers could go.
