Apps and Installations

Out of the blue, Dropbox stopped syncing on Monday and now, it won't even connect and gets stuck on starting. It sometimes gives me an error that there is no internet connection (and there is). I've tried reinstalling and restarting and uninstalling and re-installing to no avail. I'm running Catalina 10.15.7. Both my personal and business accounts are working fine and on my laptop, but not my desktop. I've tried turning off proxy, but that makes no difference either.
HELP!
Thanks!
Hey, I have a major issue, where my dropbox desktop app. thinks I am offline, and there seems to be no way I can start up the app, let alone sign in. Anyone else had this?
Many thanks, Leila

Hi Lori!,
Thanks so much. I have Mac OS Big Sur — 11.2.3 (20D91)
Oh, and there is no syncing status, the the dropbox syncing status Icon is going around and it says 'waiting to be linked to an account', but I can't sign in.... catch 22
Hi @LeilaDunningProjects!
It sounds like you're using the beta version of the Dropbox desktop application.
I'd suggest you go into your account settings on the Dropbox website and turn Early releases off.
After that, install one of the stable builds of the Dropbox application.
