Hoping someone can help as Dropbox is saying this is a Chrome issue and can't resolve.
My company uses Dropbox for files. I open excel & powerpoint files from dropbox.com to google sheets & slides. Once I start typing in the google sheets or google slides file, it immediately crashes Chrome. With Google Docs, this isn't an issue with Chrome. It apparently is not an issue with anyone else in the company editing the dropbox.com files using google sheets or slides.
Noting, I don't have any issues editing google sheets or slides in Safari with dropbox files, but I would like to avoid using more than one browser at work as we use a lot of Google applications and really only use Google.
I've already done the following:
Thanks for the help in advance!
Hey Nancy,
this would be awesome!
Sidenote: In Firefox it works fine

@Nancy Yes, please do!
You’re all set, too, @splouffe! When possible, please reply back to me in the same email thread, so that I can continue with the investigation.

I am having the same problem for the last 2 days; it was working fine till 3 days ago! The google sheet doc in dropbox opens and it looks fine; but the moment you try to edit, it crashes Chrome. This is on Mac with the latest OS.
Thanks for the nudge here, @sadagopal.
Can I send you an email, so we can look into this internally?

Hey @bravomartin, sorry to hear about this.
Can you clarify if you've attempted any of the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this discussion and what were the results?
