I have made a mess of my use of dropbox. I needed to use a memory stick to find a particular item and a message on screen asked if I wanted to download the contents of the memory stick to dropbox. Without thinking I did so and filled up my dropbox allowance. They now want to charge me.
I do not use dropbox and do not need it.
I have tried to cancel but following sign in, click avatar, click settings, click plan does not lead to cancel plan. It appears to be impossible to email the company directly.
So how do i get out of this little trap i have got myself into.
? HELP

Did you actually upgrade your account and pay for a new subscription? If not, then there's nothing to cancel as that only applies to paid subscriptions. If you're still on a Basic account, which is free, there's nothing to cancel.
It sounds like you enabled the backup feature and allowed it to back up your flash drive. If so, you just need to turn the back up off and disable the feature.
thanks for the reply. i will see what happens next. they are trying to bill me but I will ignore it.
yes,I am on a basic account but they are trying to persuade me to upgrade as my account is full. i just do not need it and am sorry i allowed a friend to install it---he did this when he set up a new lap top for me.
if i ignore them will they go away?
