Trial period

Trial period

Hornborg

A couple of days ago I received a notification that a trial period is about to expire. This trial period is not something that I activated in the first place. And the notification said that after the trial, my storage will be reset to 2 GB which is very much less than I've previously had thanks to inviting many people to sign up for your service. Has anyone else had this happen to them.

My hope ins that reset will in fact not be to 2 GB but to the 17 or so (as I recall) that it was previously.

Thanks,
Lars.

Hey @Hornborg, thanks for using Dropbox and posting on our Community.

Can you please send us a screenshot of your plan tab to check your account's quota?

Also, note that space earned through referrals is permanent and can't be removed. Just keep in mind that the space earned through referrals is 500 MB while on the Basic plan while it's doubled (1 GB) when on the Plus, Professional or Family plans.

I hope this helps a tad and please keep me posted, Lars.

Hi, yes, here's the screenshot. So if I understand you correctly, even though the email stated that my account will be reset to 2 GB, it will in fact be reset to the level before the (unwanted) trial period?

Thanks,

Lars.

Yes, exactly, Lars. The email was probably referring to the base quota for Basic accounts which is 2 GB.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
