I want to delete this account as I have no idea how it was even ever created. I'm using a pc, and I've attempted this will my phone.
Nothing.
It uses my gmail account, I never created a password. So, when I ask for a password reset, nothing comes up.
Nothing in my junk folder.
I added the noreply crap thingy to my gmail account.
Nothing.
Now, I get this message: [ Too many incorrect attempts. Please try again in a few minutes. ]
Minutes go by, nothing. Hours, nothing. Ever. Never. With all the technology out there, this feels deliberate and borderline insidious.
Please help!
Hi @ForTheLoveOfGod, sorry to hear about that!
Could I reach out via email, in order for us to have a look internally?

I have a similar issue. My account is attached to my old email that is no longer active. I can login but I cannot update my email because I don't know the password. To change my password they can only send a message to my old email that I cannot access. Any help?

Unfortunately, you're stuck in a situation that there's really no way out of. In order to update your email you need to know your password, and in order to reset your password you need access to the email address associated with your Dropbox account.
Your best option is to contact your email provider and see if you can gain access to the email address, even if it's just temporary so you can reset your password and update the email on your account. Failing that, create a new Dropbox account and move your files from the old account to the new account, while you can still sign in.
I have added my new email as a secondary email on my account. Can I get a password reset link sent to this secondary email?
