Dropbox storage space - shows full - all files deleted months ago

Hi,

My storage space continues to show nearly full and I keep getting notifications every time I open my Mac.

I deleted all files and all shared folders months ago - no change.

Within my account I've searched for a file view showing what files use the storage space, but I have been unable to find anything.  There is only one empty folder that used to contain a couple dozen of small files.  Can anyone help please?

Thanks much in advance

Hi Walter,

many thanks for reaching out.

I now see what the problem is - the backups page!  I browsed the account / settings parts of the site extensively, trying to locate what is taking up space - no where was a link to backups.

I have now deleted those files.  Thank you very much for your help.

Hi @winexxx, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Can you please let me know what exactly is reported in your plan tab in regards to your quota?

Do you maybe see any files or folders taking up space in your account's homepage or your backups page?

Let me know what you find and we'll take it from there.

No worries @winexxx - I'm just glad I could help. Thanks for keeping me in the loop too!

just note that you can always navigate your backups by clicking on the grid icon on the upper left corner on your homepage and selecting the Backup option.

See you around the Community and take care!
