Re: Where are my referrals?

How do I know if I have been given extra storage space when a friend accepts invitation? I've not had any notification. πŸ€”

    Hi

I can't seem to find where I can view storage space earned from people I've sent referrals to? How do I access the list of referrals too? On Android mobile app.

Hi I have referred my dad to join Dropbox which he now has after clicking on the link referral..but it is saying ineligible. Can someone tell me where I can appeal this as he joined through my referral.

Also the person I sent link referral to has literally joined it through my referral and we haven't received free extra storage. How do we go about resolving this? He even downloaded the app..no such thing as confirming email. So confused

Did they install the Dropbox application on a unique computer? Mobile devices do not count. Refer to the following help article for information on how to verify an email account.

When my mum joined through my referral not long ago, it worked through her phone and that wasn't an issue. Downloaded onto her phone. Nothing to do with downloading to a laptop.

This was no different, it was again downloaded on their phone but this time it's not working.

We live together but not seeing what the issue is with that.

As for verifying the email address, it's ridiculous. It clearly recognises that they have joined and allows them to also post on the community which they have.

I don't know how that could be as it clearly states "desktop app" on the documentation, and it has always required an install on a unique computer.

Well it's deceiving, as the other person joined through my referral on their own phone too but this time it hasn't worked.

Which it shouldnt do - because it isn't supposed to as per terms.

Personally you are probably better off just keeping quiet about it working previously so that said space isn't revoked as it shouldn't have been issued.

There have been other people who have also not had their extra space too..some fortunately have probably had their issues resolved..but I'm not getting anything resolved by someone telling me to keep quiet.

Because it isnt eligible by installing on a mobile device. As has been said - that's in the terms.
