Where are my referrals?
Question to the Dropbox Support team: I've earned my 7 GB of storage in my basic plan through recommendations. Why are you minimizing it now to 2GB? Thank you in advance for answering.

Hey there, agnesagnes, I hope you're doing well today!
If I understand things right, it seems you've earned some additional space by using our referral system, and now you have some issues with the space in your account.
Feel free to correct me if this isn't the case. Keep in mind, that we wouldn't be taking away your referrals in any case.
Can you let me know more as to what your plan page reports? Do you see your existing referrals when you scroll all the way to the end?
www.dropbox.com/referral_status will help as well.
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Well it's deceiving, as the other person joined through my referral on their own phone too but this time it hasn't worked.

Which it shouldnt do - because it isn't supposed to as per terms.
Personally you are probably better off just keeping quiet about it working previously so that said space isn't revoked as it shouldn't have been issued.

As has been said - that's in the terms.
