Hi there, John-Smith.
Thanks for clarifying.
Just wanted to jump in and let you know that we've checked back with our team and we can confirm that we no longer support Safari 12.
We'll also update this information as soon as possible.
Thank you.

2 years agoHi John-Smith, does that happen with Safari only, or with any other browser too?
Can you send me a screenshot of the error message you get when trying to access our website when using Safari?

Thank you for your reply.
I haven't tested other browsers yet, but I think this may be related to your browser version policy.
I also tested with an iPhone 6 (iOS 12.5.5) and got the same result. This seems to be a recent issue because I was able to use it normally before.
Here are some screenshots:

Sorry to jump in here, John-Smith.
Are you using Safari on your computer, as well? If yes, can you test this there, and let me know if you see the exact same error?

Hi Nancy,
Sorry, I currently don't have a Mac with Safari 12 available for testing.
However, when testing with Chrome using a custom User-Agent:Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/12.0.0 Safari/605.1.15to simulate Safari 12, the result is still not supported.

Hi Nancy ,
I also tested the custom User-Agent on Safari for Mac, and the result was the same.
However, when I changed the User-Agent to "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/13.0.0 Safari/605.1.15", it worked normally.

Hi again, John-Smith! Thanks for testing this out.
I’m wondering if the issue lies with your device’s OS actually (Dropbox supports iOS 15 or later), since iOS and Safari are closely linked.
If possible, can you try a different browser on your mobile device, and let me know if that works?
I’d just like to point out that if your device’s OS is no longer supported by Dropbox, you may not have a recent enough web browser version to access the website from there.
