I'm running Dropbox for Mac v58.4.92, and every time I log in to my machine, I get a message from Dropbox asking me to turn on accessibility: Every time I tick 'Don't show this to me again' and then 'Not Now', but it comes back the next time I log in. What can I do to disable this message?Solved24KViews2likes14CommentsThe dark mode for Dropbox resets on my macOS desktop app whenever I restart my device.
Hello Dropbox people. I see the setting is now in the Mac App but it doesn't work until you open the settings. So this means if you reboot your computer, or quit and restart DropBox, it goes back to using the light theme even if you picked dark. It's kind of annoying to have to go into settings each time to fix this.234Views1like16CommentsCan I back up a partitioned disk?
Hello ! I wanted to make a backup of some folders I have on a partitioned drive on my PC. The problem is that in the Backup Dropbox Beta configuration it only shows me folders on the C:/ drive. My dropbox is also on another drive that is not C. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you very much for any answer!Solved2.7KViews1like10CommentsRename divice as shown on Dropbox
I installed 3 new PCs. They have a hostname. Then I installed Dropbox. The PCs show up as PC, PC (2), PC (3). Not the device hostname. The other thread about this suggests uninstalling Dropbox, changing the name, then reinstalling Dropbox. That should not be necessary because I installed Dropbox after I had set the hostname.Solved725Views1like1CommentWindows 10 automatically save screenshots
I was having issues getting the automatic screenshot saving to work on my new (to me) Windows 10 Dell. I was NOT about to reinstall Dropbox, and re-download 250+ gigs of data. Finally found this article that answers it: https://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/change-the-default-location-for-saving-screenshots-in-windows-10/ It shows how to FIND where windows 10 is saving your screenshots (in your pictures library) and how to MOVE that folder. (Right click on the folder, select properties, click the location tab, then browse to where you WANT them saved). Works like magic!!!Solved44KViews1like4Comments
