How can I recover access to my old account?
I stopped using Dropbox about a year ago, and when I recently tried to log back in, it asked for a 2FA code from an authenticator app that I had already deleted. Is there any way for me to recover access to my old account?Solved78Views1like4CommentsI can't find the Preferences for the Dropbox desktop application
I had drop box set up on my laptop months ago, the subscription lapsed and I decided not to renew because I just couldn't wrap my head around how it worked and to go with Google One. But that is not available in my country so I am back to Drop Box. I signed up to a plan, but used a different google sign in to the previous one I was using. I tried to set up auto synch but all the instructions tell me to click on the profile picture or initials in the bottom left corner - mine are top right. I can't find preferences anywhere. If I try and install the desktop app it tells me I am signed in with another account. I cannot get Dropbox to pin to the task bar (I just have quick start option) I have now signed out of the original account on the laptop and the phone but still getting the same message that I already have an account. Totally confused and fed up.91Views0likes5CommentsHow to use more than one Dropbox account on a single computer?
Quick question — is it possible to run two Dropbox accounts on the same computer without constantly signing out or making separate user accounts? I’m not super technical, just want personal + work available without cluttering my disk — what do people actually do?154Views0likes4CommentsHow does someone send me emails coming from no-reply@dropbox.com?
Questions about receiving an email "via dropbox" with a sender ID of no-reply@dropbox.com. I received an email with a current "send" date and time with instructions to open a pdf document, delivered with this email. It required a sign-in and password from my email account to see the document. The strange part is the message was from an attorney that I had a relationship over 35 years ago. Yes, the attorney is still practicing. My questions are how does one send an email "via dropbox" if possible. Secondly, this email did contain real ID's and email addresses of the sender and the recipient (me). I havenpt called the attorney to see if he sent it yet. I am more concerned on how you send and what is required to send an email "via dropbox" Any clues on this?Solved17KViews0likes4CommentsI deleted my email, and now I have trouble accessing my Dropbox account.

Hi -Our main admin left the company. We had access to her dropbox but the freelance IT guy came in, changed our emails from Fasthosts to another provider and cancelled the Fasthost plans, so that email no longer exists and cant be reinstalled. We now have no access to the admin of this Dropbox account and the IT guy has full access as it looks like he's stored the passwords for when he was accessing stuff through Teamviewer - but we need that to stop immediately as other things have gone on We can access the other account linked but they don't have admin permissions, and so our IT guy has full control of this account and not us?! What can we do?? Thanks2.1KViews0likes15Comments
