Hello together! I need help and hope someone here can show me how to solve my problem... Today I got a new smartphone and I installed the Dropbox App on it. When you want to log into your account you can choose to login with google etc. or to login via e-mail and password. My account was created years ago with my Gmail Email and a password (not directly with the Gmail account, hope you know what I mean). Now, today I wanted to login into my dropbox account on my new phone, but i choosed to login with google and not log in via mail and password. Now a new account was crated with my googleaccount and I can´t reset my old password, because now I only can enter the new account. Pls help me. Thank you very much!Solved19KViews0likes35CommentsEmails from no-reply@dropbox.com
Questions about receiving an email "via dropbox" with a sender ID of no-reply@dropbox.com. I received an email with a current "send" date and time with instructions to open a pdf document, delivered with this email. It required a sign-in and password from my email account to see the document. The strange part is the message was from an attorney that I had a relationship over 35 years ago. Yes, the attorney is still practicing. My questions are how does one send an email "via dropbox" if possible. Secondly, this email did contain real ID's and email addresses of the sender and the recipient (me). I havenpt called the attorney to see if he sent it yet. I am more concerned on how you send and what is required to send an email "via dropbox" Any clues on this?17KViews0likes3CommentsAdd second email address to account
I have just started using the DropBox for Business subscription – though still on the trial – and I am trying to connect a second version of my email address to my account. About a year ago we change our email setup from <firstname@company.com> to <firstname.lastname@company.com> and I get emails (and invitations to share folders) to both versions of the address. So I am trying to add an alias to my account so that I don't have to have two accounts. Does anyone know how to do this or a work around? Thanks for any help. I hope I'm doing this correctly as I am new to this but - have I misunderstood something? The reason I'm paying the $75.00 a month is for unlimited storage for my partners and I to have space to store the gigantic wav libraries we tend to accumulate producing various music projects. Did all of us misread something or is the Dropbox unlimited storage similar to your phone carrier's unlimited data. If that is the case I think $75.00 is an astronomical amount of money to be paying for only 3TB. That's highway robbery! Apple costs less per TB. We initially read seperatley then together all the info provided and came to the conclusion that unlimited storage means unlimited storage. I remember reading about 3TB but we would be given more as needed. If there is a part of the guide I misread or the help section or something that anyone knows about it would mean the world. Thank You.Solved6.7KViews0likes6CommentsI am not able to receive the 6 digit code in my email
Dear Dropbox I am not able to receive the 6 digit code in my email. In fact, I am not receiving any emails from Dropbox. I've added no-reply@dropbox.com to my contacts. I've checked my spam folder. I've verified my address is correct. I have also verified that the email address can receive mails from other sources. I can also send you an email from that address if need be. I just need an address to send it to I have actually had this problem for several years, but it has only become a problem for me now as I have gotten a new phone and I cannot verify my Dropbox app on it as I am not getting the code. I have full access to my Dropbox account on my desktop and on the webpage. Please help meSolved5.1KViews0likes27Comments
