Please can you upgrade the Dropbox app so that it works natively on Apple Silicon Macs (M1) without Rosetta. Rosetta is not an option as it annihilates the battery. This may be a duplicate of the below idea however that started for ARM processors in general and you haven't looked at it in 6 years so starting an Apple specific idea in the hope you see it. https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-ideas/Desktop-app-with-syncing-for-devices-with-ARM-processors/idi-p/57554/page/18 There are also lots of comments on this thread to help support the case for demand: https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-installs-integrations/Dropbox-Apple-Silicon-M1-install/td-p/500325Solved232KViews2016likes496CommentsNew Dropbox desktop update is re-syncing everything.
This new update has messed how my Dropbox works on Desktop too. I also get the 'syncing' symbol on all of my folders, and for some reason Dropbox has decided that it needs to Sync all ~80,000 files all over again despite the fact that I already had everything set up perfectly how I like it and all the files that I needed for offline/online use were already set. It's taken about 2.5 hours out of my work day so far because it's clogging up all my time trying to get this mess sorted.564Views5likes18CommentsWhy is the Dropbox desktop app running so slowly?
Why is Dropbox smart sync terribly slow? I have 1GB/sec up and down for speed, with a hard connection into an iMac Pro and it takes forever for large files to download when I switch them from online to local? I have a plane to get on tomorrow morning and was looking to take some videos with me to edit, now I can't because dropbox is painfully slow. I was told you do not throttle speed, but I find this "extremely" hard to believe. All of my files were "up to date" already sync'd and then I switched one 70GB file to local so I could transfer it to my portable SSD, its been 4 hours and its at like 2%. This is absurd for a paying customer. Between this and your infamous storage issues with Mac that you continue to blame on Apple, I keep asking myself why I continue to use you? You never work when I need you the most.Solved8.1KViews5likes15CommentsInstructions don't match what I see when trying to download CSV file with my passwords

Hi, I just received a new iMac with Ventura 13.4. I transfered my MacBookAir (Catalina 10.15.7). When I try to launch the DropBox app, it does not work. So, I tried to download it again from https://www.dropbox.com/downloading?plat=mac&type=full, but the download failed several times. So, now I have a new computer, but no files to access. Can anybody help me? Thank youSolved1.1KViews1like4Comments
