Are there any eligibility criteria for the Basic Extra plan?
Dropbox Plan Basic Extra Question or Issue Are there any eligibility criteria for Basic Extra from the Free plan? I have been on the free account for several years, and I am so grateful. But I do pay for another space because my entire home automation to share photo album, etc., is there, which I cannot migrate to dropbox and now adding 2TB space on Dropbox where I only store confidential health tax, etc. documents, is too much for me. Is there any way I can avail the Basic Free?

Unlink Dropbox app version 2.3.5.10 from Android handset
Hello, I have an old android handset - HTC- One with Dropbox app version 2.3.5.10. I am unable to unlink device from Dropbox. A message occurs Error: ' you must be online to unlink. Check your connection or try again'. However, I am connected to WiFi. I can access the website on my other devices laptop and mobile, but the old handset is not listed on the basic Dropbox account I have. Appreciate if you can advise please. Will deactivating my own Dropbox account delete photos from my friend's account too?
A good friend has sent me a link to share her very precious photos, so I opened a Dropbox account. In total they are 4.3gb, too large for a basic free account, but I didn't know this until I had added them to my account. I have now downloaded them all to a hard drive as the free 2gb Dropbox was not big enough. If I delete the photos and close my drop box account will I be deleting the photos on her Dropbox account too? I can't risk doing that!
When sharing a link to a parent folder, does a subfolder inherit the permissions of the parent?
Hi, With a dropbox basic account, does a subfolder inherit the permissions of the parent folder? Suppose I make a folder (Folder A) that anyone can view with a link, but within it (Folder B), I change the permission to "only people invited," will Folder B still inherit Folder A's permissions even if I changed the permissions of Folder B? I have problem to disband my current team and cannot convert to individual personal account as there are no options in the billing section of admin console or my account settings. Even though it shows as Basic but currently my account is in a team.
