Dropbox Plan Plus Are you a Team Member or Admin? No. I own the account. There is no Admin, and there are no Team Members Do you have access to the email linked to the account? Yes Are there any devices connected to your Dropbox account? Not that I'm aware of. Question or Issue I created a new folder. It is not within another folder - when I click All Files, it shows at that level. Then I tried to Share it and I got the message below. I've never encountered this problem before when creating folders. What have I done wrong, and how can I create a new folder that I can share?53Views0likes4CommentsMy colleague needs additional storage to view content inside a folder that we share. Why?
My friend and I are volunteers at an animal shelter, and both use Windows PCs. I take videos of the dogs to be posted on social media to help get them adopted. I am a Dropbox Plus subscriber, she has a Dropbox Basic subs. We are both members of a Dropbox shared folder. When she receives a link that I have uploaded videos to that folder and clicks on it, she receives s message that she needs more storage to view, and can only see pics from the videos. Any ideas to solve this problem?Solved85Views0likes5CommentsDropbox not syncing when the document is open
Device: Acer Swiftbook 5 Operating System: Windows 11 Dropbox App Version: 234.4.5591 Dropbox Plan: Plus Question or Issue Hi all - I have had Dropbox installed on my laptop for years and it runs just fine. I save everything to it, and everything just saves automatically to Dropbox. I am the only user of the account. This weekend I had to do a reset of my computer and reinstall all apps (the problem was unrelated to Dropbox). Everything is back up and running, and Dropbox is syncing fine etc with almost everything. But in a couple of apps that I use, although it will save just fine, it will only sync with my account if I close the document entirely. It never used to do this, it would sync as soon as I saved it even if I kept the document open to keep working on it. I can't work out from the help pages why it might be doing that. Most thing work as previously and will sync as soon as saved. Any help gratefully received! ThanksSolved126Views0likes8CommentsCan I refresh a file inside Dropbox, without re-uploading it from scratch?
Hi, A file or folder is downloaded from my desktop into Dropbox. I use colors etc for files and folders on my desktop, but they do not show in Dropbox. For that reason I prefer to work on my files and folders on my desktop. Is there a way to refresh a file or folder in Dropbox, without uploading it again to Dropbox. In that case it adds the file or folder, does not refresh the one in Dropbox. Hopefully you understand my problem. Looking forward to some help.Solved100Views0likes4CommentsMy desktop app in Windows 10 hasn't been syncing for over an hour

(There's another conversation with the same title, but dicussions have been close, so can't commet there, had to open a new conversation). I have Dropbox Plus. Apparently, Microsoft has made a major change these days and now all my Dropbox files need to sync again. There thousands... I NEED to priorise which sync first in order to work with my teammates so they can receive the new files. See screenshots below: 1st, from my hardrive, you see there's a 250709 file, the last one, which is not uploading: 2nd, from my dropbox account, can't see that file. I saved it yesterday to my hard drive: 3rd, from my hard drive, right clicked at the folder where the file is, dropbbox options DON´T show the Sync now: 4th, from my hard drive, right clicked at the file above the one I want synced, dropbbox options DO show the Sync now: 5th, from my hard drive, right clicked at the file that is not sycing, dropbbox options DON'T EVEN APPEAR: Will appreaciate your help asap! :)253Views0likes6CommentsClean up desktop
Still strugling. As I explained before I would like to clean up my desktop=internal hard disk. I have uploaded all the important files/folders to Dropbox, so they are save and will sync when I change them. If I want to clean up my desktop I have to delete the files/folders which are stored there. This means, because the files/folders are still in use, I have to open them through Dropbox and change them there, right? Thanks in advance.Solved114Views0likes2CommentsUpload photos
I uploaded a folder with pictures from my D disk, an internal extra HD. All of a sudden I seem to have imported lots and lots of photo's, so many I cann't even find the ones I tried to upload. There were more photos on the D-disk but I thought I would do it folder by folder. Is this what I could have expected?161Views0likes4CommentsUpload versus back-up?
I know the difference between uploading a file and backing up one. But....when I upload a folder from my desktop into Dropbox it is still present on my desktop. The same is true when I backup a folder. This makes me wonder about the difference between the two.Solved346Views0likes8CommentsFolders, with folders, with folders ....
I have a very large folder (36 GB), containing folders, containing folders etc. I tried to upload the large folder but it didn't work; just a small part was uploaded. Is there a limit to what I can upload? I understand it will take a lot of time. Thanks in advance, Leo.67Views0likes3Comments
