Dropbox says it can't sync due to insufficient disk space on my Mac, but I have more than enough.

Error that I've run out of space when trying to open a folder shared with me
I have just tried to open a folder that has been shared with, and it automatically brings up the upgrade window, stating that I have run out of space. But according to the details in my account, I am only using 2.6M out of an available 2GB. The file is definitely no where near 2GB, but it won't let me get any further or view anything, beyond the upgrade account page.

I have deleted all of my Dropbox files and my account is still over-quota. How can this be corrected? I have deleted all files I can see online and on my desktop and yet I am still over capacity. There is no active backup in place. All posts related to this are shown resolved with zero offering of HOW except the repeated request to look at backups. I have none. Most interesting is that the icon for further information indicates " files added to replay from dropbox do not use storage".... And then this?! (And even with every image removes, every format in type cleared, and each tag tried on its own, as well as ZERO tags, still nothing (also error p (data-testid) What now?
Email says I'm out of space and files not syncing, but I have over 500MB left from 2GB.
Got an email saying I'm out of space and asking me to upgrade, now files are not accessible, but account shows space is available, is this a scam to get upgrade fees? Also can't seem to speak to anyone about this, very frustrating, how do I know if I upgrade that it will make any difference?

I just signed up with Dropbox for the free 2GB storage space. I have trying to save important training documents and it is saying I am out of space when I clearly have plenty of storage space left. Can I get some assistance with this? I have only used 0.09 GB. I don't have anything in backup.
I can't access someone else's folder due to lack of space?
I get a message to join a folder of an association. When I click on that I get the message that I don't have enough space while I only use 1.94 GB of my 6.75 GB. I keep getting the message to upgrade to more space....... My available space is 6,75 GB but that doesn't matter because it's the map of someone else! If I click on "Lid worden van map" I get message below................ Who knows the solution for that............
