Hi. I'm using the Android version of the Dropbox app. (ver. 450.2.2) I set the text file to "Available offline" and edit it offline. In certain circumstances, offline files cannot be opened. 1. Connect your Android device to the Internet and sync files. 2. Edit the text file marked "Available offline", save it, and synchronize it with the server. 3. Disconnect your Android device from the internet. 4. Tap the file you just synced. 5. I can't open a file and get the error message "Network error. Retry later." If you open a synced text file while your device is online, you can then open the text file even if your device is offline. If you sync a text file and then go offline without opening it online, you will not be able to open the text file. Please fix this behavior.53Views0likes5Comments2026 Mobile Fix List: Stop the silent churn in one sprint
Hey Dropbox team, One small mobile squad could fix the 5 things that make people switch to Google Drive every single week: âAdd to Dropboxâ still dumps files into a random 2-year-old folder â give us root/default folder setting + one-tap root jump Two identical share options: âAdd to Dropboxâ vs âShare with Dropboxâ â rename or kill one 7-inch phones exist â give us two-pane landscape + persistent sidebar like iPad/OneDrive Bulk actions & paste still force folder-hopping â add a docked action bar General: make the app feel built for 2025 screens, not 2015 These are the top complaints for 5+ years. Fixing them = instant retention win, basically free. Please make 2026 the âJust Works Againâ mobile release. Device iPhone 17 pro max Operating System/Browser (if using the web) iOS 26 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) 444.2.2 Question or Issue Moving to a new iPhone and installed dropbox app. However, camera uploads is very buggy. It will upload the photos/videos, but the display will not show any new photos added. New items can be found in camera upload folder, but not in the "Photos" tab on the app as it will not fresh that at all. Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling and sometimes get the error message that the camera uploads folder doesn't exist and will be created on next upload. But the folder is there and new images are added.157Views1like6CommentsMy Windows 11 desktop app is crashing after renaming files I've synced from the mobile app.

Please add a way to stop audio files from playing instantly, as soon as you open them. On the Dropbox app, using an iPhone, the minute you open the file it starts playing. If you have previously played that audio file and paused it half way through, you can't stop it from playing in time to take it back to the start. We use Dropbox for our choir and keep our backing tracks and sheet music together. During a performance we need to make sure all the files have been returned to the start and we can't have them ready to go to press play.44Views0likes1CommentBluebeam PDF showing unwanted NOTE popups in app.
Afternoon. I'm having an issue reading bluebeam Revu PDF with the mobile dropbox app. Opening the pdf using web browser on the cell phone (iphone) or even opening it on desktop app there is no issue, but opening PDF in the mobile dropbox app itself creates yellow Note popups all over the print. I've attached a few pictures for reference. I did find a previous thread about this that said it was corrected for AUTOCAD pdf, but have not found a solution for this. Thanks. â â â2.4KViews0likes8CommentsIs there a way to turn off auto-play for audio files in the Dropbox iOS app?
Device (iPhone 14 Pro Max) Operating System/Browser (if using the web) (18.6.2) Dropbox App Version (if using the app) (450.2.2) Question or Issue We use Dropbox for our choir to store backing tracks and music scores. When we open an audio file, it plays automatically. Is there a way to stop the auto play. We need to use this on our phone for when we sing outdoors or in aged care facilities as we don't have room for a computer. I have tried turning the loop function off, but it is off on all files already. I don't want to have to use a desktop version. I just want the ability to use the app but to be able to turn off auto play in the settings. I can see that someone else had this issue 7 years ago and it looks like it has still not been fixed. Can I please vote for an auto play off button, as an update?25Views0likes1Comment
