Dropbox Plan Standard Operating System/Browser (if using the web) Windows 11 / Microsoft Edge Question or Issue I keep getting notification that my dropbox is over the limit. when I look in dropbox on my computer or on my phone (android) it says there are 0 files 0 folders. It keeps wanting me to upgrade but I am not confident I would see my files even if I upgraded. Everything I've read says I should still be able to see my files/folders even though it says it is full. No one shared files/folders with me, I don't share files/folders with anyone.Solved101Views0likes3CommentsI received an email about my storage being almost full even though I'm not near my account's limit
I recieved an email from no-reply@em-s.dropbox.com saying that I have used 84.57% of available space and my storage is almost full, even though I'm only using 19.6 GB of my 2 TB. Is this a spam?246Views0likes3CommentsI had 25 GB of space but now it looks like I only have 2 GB
Hi Dropbox community, Iâm posting here as I got a very strange email telling me that I was 254% (or close to that number) over my storage limit. I found this odd but when I went to go check my Dropbox account instead of finding my 25GB space I suddenly had 2GB⊠then when logging in again I was told I had 5GB on my account. I didnât get many answers online but I did find out whilst trying to make sense of this that I now have to pay Dropbox in order to access any kind of support (and given my storage was removed with no warning or info Iâm sure you can imagine Iâm not keen to start giving Dropbox my hard earned cash, especially as I didnât know holding support hostage and only if youâre paying Dropbox was legal before today) so 3 two factor verifications and multiple sign-ins here I am. Has this happened to anyone else? I havenât been abusing the referral system which seems to be the only reason other suggested this might be happening so Iâd appreciate any help anyone is able to give me.78Views0likes1CommentI got a notification saying I'm out of space, but I still have 7GB left on my Dropbox account.
Hi There, A notification says "You're account is currently out of space and has stopped syncing", however My Account shows I have my used 15.4GB out of 22.5GB, complete with a section marked Unused Space 7.1GB ( Pls see 2 pics below) Recommending Dropbox to half of suburbia many, many years ago, earned me an extra 20.5GB capacity for my 2GB Dropbox Basic Account. The Out of Space message by the way, was preceded by a warning March last year ( see pic 3) when I had about 12 to 13 GB storage used. Would someone be able to help me get the account syncing again, please? Very Best - Simon H115Views0likes3CommentsI keep seeing errors that my storage is full and syncing isn't possible, but that's not true.
Hi guys, I periodically receive errors that my storage is full and sync is paused. I am using Basic 2GB but received additional storage a long time ago. I have over 1.7GB of free storage. I tried to upload something and it is working - so the error message is not valid. Is it possible to somehow stop these messages? It looks like the logic behind it is just checking my current plan (2GB) and my used space (3.6GB). Any ideas on how to get rid of it? Thank you all!94Views0likes3CommentsWhy is my account out of quota now?
So I have been using Dropbox for years with no problems. All of a sudden, a message pops up that I am out of storage and that I am using 11.31 GB of 2 GB space and it stopped syncing my files. My free account had way more than 2 GB as evidenced by the fact that I was allowed to reach 11.31 at one point. Why all of a sudden am I out of storage? Seems like they lowered the storage space without notification. The minimum upgrade cost is $9.99 per month for 2,000 GB. I don't need that much and don't want to pay that amount when I only need a smaller amount of storage space.277Views0likes11CommentsI'm told I'm running out of space, but I have no files on my Dropbox account.
Received this email from dropbox. I have a basic account with nothing in my Dropbox folder "A quick note: Weâre reaching out to notify you of your limited Dropbox capacity" Why am I getting this message. George119Views0likes3CommentsWhy do I get this kind of threatening email from Dropbox that I'll lose access to my files?
I get this email almost daily: "Eligibility confirmed: NAME, you'll lose access to your files if you don't act soon!" I have 1,7 / 2.0 GB on my free storage. What do you mean by this message? I'm no native speaker, but this "you'll lose" is factual statement to me. But how can this be correct as I'm roughly 10% below my max. quota. How can you state something like this? Is this some kind of harassment towards me to make me buy more storage? Please confirm, Do I lose access or not? If the size of the data remains as is?Solved1.7KViews1like8Comments
