Hello, I'm a graphic designer with over 15 years of workload. This obviously equates to extreme files sizes. I was disappointed to learn Dropbox don't offer a package for single users over 3TB. I work solely and require more cloud space and don't want to have to upgrade to a 'per user' plan as this isn't cost effective. This option has to become available soon.62KViews188likes221CommentsPersonal plans with more storage
Hi! I used to have a paid personal Dropbox account, until I outgrew the 3TB of storage space. I downgraded to a free Dropbox account and started storing my files with a different provider. As a renewal of my subscription with this other provider is coming up mid-June, I was wondering if you are planning on implementing larger personal plans in the future? Ideally I'd love a package that has somewhere between 6 to 8TB. Switching to a professional account is not an option, because: - I already use a professional account from the company I work for, you can only use 1 personal and 1 professional account in the Dropbox software at the same time, and I don't want to upload my personal files to my company's account - a professional account requires several licenses (3, I believe), while I only need 1 Therefore, I would like to suggest to implement the option to purchase a larger personal plan with more storage space than the current 3TB (of course the plan with 3TB should still exist for users who don't need more than 3TB).22KViews78likes99CommentsWill there be a 2 TB option for personal accounts?
I am running out of space with my 1TB drive. Is there an option to get 2TB? I know about Dropbox for business, with 5 Tb, but the price is just not compatible with my needs. It is too big a jump from 1Tb price to minimum of 5 users at $ 15 each.Solved27KViews31likes70CommentsFamily plan is too expensive for what it offers
While I would like to have the ability for my wife and I to share a combined account with our own individual logins - it's not worth the extra $80/year, almost doubling the cost for only a limited increase in features. If it came with double the storage I might consider it, but even then I'm not sure I need that much more storage at the moment. Please reconsider the pricing on the family plan as I will never upgrade at anywhere near that price. It makes more sense to just have 2 Plus accounts since it comes with the extra storage. With the amount of competition out there for similar cloud storage, it's getting more difficult to justify the cost of dropbox, so I was really expecting a minimal increase in price, if any at all versus the Plus plan I am currently paying for.15KViews21likes32CommentsIs there a cheaper plan than the Plus plan, that offers more space?
my question is: Is there any plan that is even cheaper than the normal basic plan of 2000 tb? It happens that I want to have more storage space, but the cheapest plan is still quite expensive. Is there an alternative storage plan, which is cheaper?Solved29KViews12likes171CommentsWhy can't a single user get an Advanced Account without paying for 3 users?
I'm frustrated with Dropbox plans. I'm a single user who doesn't want to pay for a 3 team plan to gain more storage capacity. Currently I'm in a 5T plan that my account shares jointly with the other institution. The institutions plan was downgraded to a lesser plan. I'm the soul producer of digital material that I share with this institution. I can no long sync my material to the account since its over capacity now. I want to upgrade my account to the Advance Account for unlimited storage. I miss understood the plan pricing. It said a yearly plan was $288 thinking I could handle this pricing. But then it came to checking out it said it would be $864, shock! Then realized it was for three users at that price. Don't advertise single user pricing upfront when you can only get it for the price of $864. No one gives a crap about single user pricing when you can't get single user pricing. Please consider the little guy who is productive and is just single user team! I've loved Dropbox but your plans suck! Any suggestions or possible future plans that are reasonable for the little guy without breaking the bank. Thank You Eric4.1KViews8likes16CommentsDropbox paid plans way too expensive
Hi there, I've been a Dropbox user more or less from the very beginning and I regret to say that the paid plans are way too expensive for an average user (or a family for that matter): 2 TB for 120,- € per year for a PLUS plan - honestly... I'm pretty much sure that you will get many more paid users if the price plans were more reasonable. Furthermore, Dropbox sends out messages informing that they have "new possibilities" and by the end of the day, it's the same expensive "special offer" as always. Hopefully, this will change. Kind regards, Peter4.7KViews6likes5Comments
