I've been reading through some community posts, and a few people have said similar to the following: They have a free account, have storage of over 20GB, but Dropbox has messaged them to say the space will be reduced back to 2GB. Why is this? I don't want to go to the trouble of referring people to get more space, then have Dropbox message me and tell me the space will be removed. Does space get reduced if you don't use it after a certain amount of time or something?Solved16KViews1like31CommentsReferral sent to a friend marks as inelegible
Hi I sent a request to a friend for them to install Dropbox. They followed all the process steps and were awarded 259mb. On my account against their referral email, it is marked as ineligible. This does not make any sense, they set up the account on a different computer. So why is this marked as ineligible? Can someone please look into this for. My email is <<removed to avoid spam>> Regards, Tahir9.2KViews0likes29CommentsNot getting any more referral space?
My last few referals are just shoiwng as "Completed" whereas before they were 500MB with a tick. Does that mean im not going to get anymore space? I am showing the following on my account: Earn more space (19.25 GB earned) You can earn more space by referring your friend to Dropbox! You’ll get a 500 MB bonus when they install Dropbox on their computer. thanksSolved8.9KViews0likes14CommentsLost earned storage data after downgrading subscripiton
I have used drop box for many years for free and had accumulated 5.75 Gb of extra storage space from inviting friends to dropbox. For the last few years I needed more space so got a Plus account. Recently, I downgraded back to a free Basic account and, although in my history still says that I have earned 5.75Gb of storage space, my account has reverted to only the 2 gb that one gets when signing up for free. It seems impossible to contact dropbox support. Does anybody know how to get those lost Gbs back??? Many thanks in advanceSolved8.2KViews2likes19Commentsrefer a friend bonus data not received
