Hi there! I've have a free dropbox personal account for 15 years, and at some point added a free Teams account. Several years ago I upgraded the Teams account to a Professional account. ----- Today I got this message, and all my Professional files were taken off my machines (they're still on dropbox of course) Business Dropbox Removed: Your business Dropbox account was removed from this computer because your accounts were unlinked. Your files have not been deleted. ------ I would love to be able to link my two accounts, and continue having two separate dropbox home folders on my machine. Basically, I am leaving the country tomorrow morning and will have extremely limited internet access. I just need it to work how it used to, but I accept that I may need an alternate setup based on whatever Dropbox has changed. When I am signed into my Personal (free) account, it says I have 3TB of space, and the same for the Professional account. Within the settings menu the Pro account is called Personal Account, but when I check the billing plan for the Pro account, it calls it Dropbox Professional. Any solutions? Many Thanks! Hi there, I have 2 dropbox accounts, currently signed into one of them. I am unable to sign into my other dropbox account as the email address is from a workplace I am no longer at, I no longer have access to it. I have forgotten the password to the account and can't reset it because I don't have access to the email. I need to cancel the premium Dropbox subscription on the account and delete the account. How can I do this without having access to the email address? So I would love to just get my work done but Dropbox has other ideas. No problem Iāll just call customer support and speak with a live agent and get this knocked out in 5 mins. Nope Dropbox hates their customers and canāt be bothered apparently. And because my account is saying I have the basic plan instead of the one I PAY for who knows maybe I could talk to someone if they had my account right. It says I have another account with this Apple account and therefore canāt upgrade to a better plan. Which would fix the problem because itās saying Iām out of storage. It says Iāve used 20 G of 2g or something. Then it says Iām already on the upgraded plan and itās paid up till June 30th. So I checked and it shows my devices only and shows itās this apple account as the payee. Anyone have any ideas or experiences on this one? Iām so sorry to be so mad. I swear half my adult life is just being prevented from getting my work done by faceless companies that love my money but despise their customers. They just canāt be bothered. I am still getting billed on a DropBox account linked to an old work email that no longer exists at a company that I no longer work for. I am unable to receive the verification code to log into that account and therefore cannot cancel my subscription through that page. There is no way to contact DropBox directly so I cannot delete this charge... Any advice? even though i had not actively used it in quite some time.... I now come to find out that if i haven't "logged in" , my account has been deleted ? ( that makes sense - let's delete an active paying customers account ?!?!? ) So now when i try to call support it says to log in and request a call back. However when i log in , it prompts me to set up a new Free account - WHICH DOESN'T PROVIDE THE CALL BACK FEATURE !?!?!?!...... I cannot see anything in the T&C regarding this but it's possible I missed it. Anyway, does Dropbox require businesses to use Dropbox Business regardless of whether they need the extra features? Or can they use a personal/family plan if it fits their needs? We're a team of 4 people and the family plan features currently are more than enough for us and the pricing fits our limited budget.
