Others are able to open the files and the user can usually open the file after a few minutes have passed. This happens both when a file was just modified by another user and when a file has not been modified in days and no one else has the file open. It also occurs if a file is saved with "Autosave" toggled on or toggled off. The user can open the file via the File Explorer context menu to open the file in Dropbox.com and then in PowerPoint/Excel/Word. I am in this situation now. I have Dropbox business with 3 Tb and I have lots of files... It was fine until last week or so when I tried syncing and it syncs infinite. It starts at about 7K files and I let it run. I noticed that it will be at say 7232 files then it will jump to 7258 then start decreasing. It does this constantly but file numbers will vary. Eventually it gets to about 400 or so and it says a minute left, then it jumps back up to 800 and the process repeats over and over... Looking at the sync and storage in the app. It shows that I have like 5% of the dropbox on harddrive. This is not the case. I have it all on the drive so there is something rotten here. I've wasted way too much time on this and nothing works. I would like to create a public share folder called something like "Company Information" Then I would like to create individual folders that will be perpetually able to be downloaded by a customer using a QR code or link with their information in it. I would like a way to link the public share folder inside of the individual folder so that they can access it by clicking the link to their folder then navigating to it with some sort of short cut. After the new app update, when I "Pause Sync" for 30 minutes or 1 Hour, it does not restart syncing after the selected time. It does say something like "File syncing and backups paused until 1:11 PM" but it does not start syncing again at that time and stays paused until I manually choose Resume Sync. I was the admin of my Dropbox Team when my account was mistakenly added to a new team. I have since removed myself from the new team, but in the process my account was deleted. I had to wait 7 days to re-register with the same email address. Now I cannot join my old team because there is no admin on that team to have me join the old team. Dear Dropbox Community, I am writing to seek assistance regarding the suspension of my Dropbox account. Recently, my Dropbox administrator suspended my account, resulting in all the files that I have created becoming unavailable on any computer. My dropbox is empty! I had a personal dropbox for a long time, and had it filled with my personal documents and work. I began working with a company who invited me to dropbox business, and i noticed i had both my own and access to theirs. I tried to sign in today and noticed that it requested I sign up - so I did and noticed my entire dropbox is now empty and I have no access to anything? Not entirely sure what to do at this point.
