I own my business and use Dropbox Business. It's great and more secure than personal, which I have loads of data on. Is there any reason I should have both? I can't think of any. Seems like I should just migrate everything to DB Biz. Am I missing something?2.9KViews0likes6Comments"Pause Sync" does not automatically restart on my Windows device.
After the new app update, when I "Pause Sync" for 30 minutes or 1 Hour, it does not restart syncing after the selected time. It does say something like "File syncing and backups paused until 1:11 PM" but it does not start syncing again at that time and stays paused until I manually choose Resume Sync. Integration Affected Zoom + Dropbox Device ALL - Macbook Pro M2, iPhone 15 ProMax Operating System/Browser (if using the web) macOs Tahoe 26 Beta 26.2 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) Browser + iPhone App Question or Issue We have used the Zoom + Dropbox integration to automatically copy recorded Zoom Meetings to Dropbox for several years now but have not had a new recording transfer since November 5, 2025 despite having many new Zoom recordings saved to the cloud. We have removed the Dropbox App for Zoom, reinstalled the Zoom App, and made sure the box was checked to "Copy Zoom cloud recordings to Dropbox" and selected the box to UPDATE. The integration is still not working. I have seen several posts from other Dropbox users with the same issue but have not seen an OFFICIAL statement from Dropbox acknowledging that this is a KNOWN ISSUE. Can someone from Dropbox please clarify? Thanks in advance!71Views0likes1CommentA team member is not receiving our invitation.

We are an MSP and we've just acquired a client that uses Dropbox a lot. I assumed (and they led to believe) they were using an Enterprise account but they are not Each person (12 ish) has their own separate Dropbox accounts; one of which has been used to share "company" data with the others. There is approx 550Gb of this data What is the best practice to amalgamate these into one "proper" company account with the appropriate users? If there's any Dropbox staff out there we would be happy to engage with you on a consultancy basis to sort this properly Simon42Views0likes3CommentsAdmin roles without tying up license
We are a smaller company that utilizes Dropbox. We have a handful of licenses and need to tie up 2-3 for our IT team to administer the software. Seems silly since these folks aren't sharing any files. Would like to see an option to have the admin roles without requiring licenses.35Views1like1CommentExternal users cannot upload to a shared folder they have edit access to
Been trying to get this to work for many years but always give up and use a different service. On my company’s team dropbox I want to create a folder with the purpose of collaborating with outside vendors. I can create invites, confirm access with edit permissions for the outside person, and they can join no problem, but they only ever have download permissions and can’t upload anything to our folder. Am I missing some permission setting? The other method of using a File Request for them to upload something does work but isn’t ideal. These are the settings used for the most recent attempt:77Views0likes2CommentsWe have a new Dropbox team, but there's an old team folder preventing changes
We have recently upgraded our Drop Box account so that we have 3 users. We need to be able to move the files & folders that are currently stored in some of these 3 individual accounts - to the new team folder. One of the users has an old team folder, that has one folder and file in it, but he is struggling to move this to his personal account, which will then allow him to leave this old team, and join the new team we have just created. Are you able to provide a procedure of how we should get this fixed, any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks33Views0likes1CommentCan I link the desktop app to my existing Dropbox folder and not overwrite my team's updated files?
I recently reinstalled Windows on my PC, and after setting up the Dropbox application again, it created a new Dropbox folder on my desktop instead of linking to the existing one from my previous installation. Now I have two Dropbox folders: The old folder: contains all my files synced before reinstalling Windows. The new folder: created by Dropbox after reinstall, currently empty or partially syncing. I want to avoid re-downloading all my files again, as I already have them locally in the old folder. My concern is: If I manually move the files from the old folder to the new one, will Dropbox treat them as "new" files and re-upload them? That could potentially overwrite changes made by my team during the two days I was offline. Could you please advise the safest way to reconnect my local files without triggering unnecessary uploads or overwriting my team’s recent changes?60Views0likes1Comment
