Dropbox deleted files from a shared link
Hello everybody! I had a bunch of photos and videos on this account (aprox. 200). The photos were probably about 3-4 years old, and i would occasionally access them. Today when i wanted to see them again, the photos were gone. The only things left on my account are the pdfs, word files and archives. I still have some links of some of the photos, form a conversation where i shared them, but when i try to access them, i get the message that the file was deleted. -the files are not in the deleted files folder -i have no other account, where i could've saved the files -i am 100% sure i didn't accidentally deleted them -no other person has access to my account -i am not logged in on the mobile app Any ideas on how my files were deleted, or any suggestion on how to recover them would be appreciated. Why are the words "Simplify your Life" being added to my Dropbox links
Just as the subject implies. I right click on a folder or file, choose "Copy Dropbox link" and when I paste it into a forum, it looks OK, but when I submit the post, it has my link with the words "Simplify your Life" added to the link. Other users of the forum find this suspicious and are often reluctant to click on these links. How can I prevent this rude, spammy behaviour?5.2KViews1like14Comments

Hey everyone! Having troubling sharing link with someone (Anyone with a link). Whenever someone clicks the link, the page appear blank white. The link won't load at all, just a white screen. I've deleted the link and recreated it. Still won't show up. Also, not just this specific link. It's all of the links. Hello, I have used Dropbox for years to share PDFs on my website. I work on a mac and use the Dropbox desktop application. Previously, when I wanted to replace a PDF under the same name in Dropbox, I just had to save the new PDF by selecting the file I wanted to replace within the Dropbox folder on my Mac. I would click REPLACE and it automatically updated the PDF under the same name without affecting the shared link. Recently, I noticed this is no longer the case. It now deletes the original file and replaces it with a new file under the same name. This breaks the link. Fortunately, you can replace a file under the same name without affecting the link directly in Dropbox via a browser. This is not as slick, so I hope you bring back this functionality to the desktop app for mac. Thank you! MollySolved13KViews0likes31Comments

The photographer put all the photo on dropbox and send us a link to acess But all the photos are delete today and we did not dowload it The photographer had delete all the photos on her computer and on dropbox Is it possible to restore photos ? RAW=1 link no longer working for videos in Chrome
Hi, For MP4 videos, when I share links, I change the dl=0 at the end of the link to raw=1. This no longer seems to work in Google Chrome as of the past few days. Was there something changed on your end to cause this issue? Others I share links with have the same issues, so it is not specific to my device. . I shared a folder from my Dropbox with some dealers using a link. When they open the link, the contents of that folder are sorted by name, but I want to add more files from time to time and would like them to appear on top. Hello, Are share links absolute, or do they conform to hieracal structure? Within an inherited folder structure is a folder containing shared newsletters. I just found that deleting all the shared links that accumulate over time isn't that easy. In fact, I have to click on each one's ellipsis and then click again on "Delete". Imagine the fun I had for all those files and folders. May I suggest Dropbox made more use of the concept called "Checkbox", which is widely used in other parts of it's UI.5.7KViews7likes5Comments
