.xlsx files are supported but something went wrong, the file is old on mobile

I know this has been addressed in the past, but I can't seem to resolve this issue.  It may also be related to another issue I'm experiencing. I have an Excel spreadsheet that I update several time a month.  When I access the file from dropbox on my desktop, everything is current (last modified date 02/01/2024).  When I access the file through the app on my phone or tablet, the file is NOT current (last modified date 10/12/2023).  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I'm a long time user and this is the first issue I've ever encountered.

Does the Dropbox preview show the correct up to date file?

Have you tried clearing the cache in that Office viewer app?
