2 years agoHi there LinaFerro - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you please send us a screenshot of the exact error you're getting so that we can have a visual too?
Are you doing this via the Files app on your device perhaps by the way?
Have you tried clearing the app's cache since you first noticed this?
Let us know more and we'll take it from there, Lina.

I am having the same issue. Using my iPhone, if I try to attach a file in a browser or in email, I receive a message stating, “Dropbox is empty”. Please help

Don't try to attach the file directly from the Dropbox app. Add Dropbox as a location in the Files app, then attach from Files. You'll be able to navigate your Dropbox from Files. It's a much smoother implementation since Files is part of iOS.

Thanks, Rich, this is exactly what I'm doing and the problem happens there. If I open Dropbox and choose to share a document, I'm able to do so.

Thanks for the screenshots and additional info, LinaFerro.
Can you please remove Dropbox from your Files app and then add it again to see if that helps?
You can find the steps on how to add it here, which are also the same steps you need to follow to remove it.

No - the function is broken for most users, in the files integration it just says, “Dropbox is empty”
