"Display Limit Reached" message when trying to view my photos
Hi---
I keep all my photos on Dropbox. It's usually great-- I open the app and scroll back and go back literally years and years and years. If I want to see a photo from November 2014, I could ...

I have the exact same situation. They are there but basically take forever and ever to load and then my screen freezes and itâs all just a foolâs errand.

From the so-called âresponsesâ from Dropbox, they donât really seem to care about this issue. They keep asking for screenshots, but Iâm sure they know exactly why we are all having this serious problem! I always told people how great Dropbox was and I was always extremely happy with the service, that is until this whole âdisplay limit reachedâ rendered most of my photos unviewable. Even when I try to look at a photo that is within the so called acceptable date range, it will just spin and attempt to load, and then crash. Sooo frustrating! I need to find a new service that actually works. And that has people actively working on correcting known issues such as this, rather than give mindless replies!
- Glolynn723 years agoHelpful | Level 5Iâm in the process of trying to transfer all of my photos from Dropbox to google photos. With them you can search for images by several different ways and filters. That has been extremely helpful to me. I refuse to pay almost $14 a month for something that isnât even working.
Good luck!!!- Sandy12313 years agoHelpful | Level 6I agree! What a nightmare Dropbox has become. Also, if I get one more email that Iâve earned a stupid Dropbox badge. Iâm going to lose it lol. I donât need badges to make me feel good. Lol.
