Dropbox icon not displaying current files/folders when clicking on the Dropbox icon in the menu bar

12 months agoHey Jagdish M.1, did you try the advanced reinstall that Walter suggested by any chance?
You can definitely keep using the app the way it is, but if you'd like we can still have a thorough look into this, and see how we'll work it out next.

Yes, Megan, I also tried the advanced reinstall as mentioned in my previous response but to no avail. I’d appreciate it if you could please explore it further as nothing’s been changed at my end to warrant this strange behaviour.

If none of the suggested troubleshooting steps help, we'll need to escalate your case.
However, would you be able to send me a screenshot of your search bar before and after you search for "Files" there?

Hi,
It looks like I may have resolved the issue. I deleted my personal folders and files from Dropbox, installed and reinstalled the app, reloaded the folders and files and now, they're all there at the start-up without having to search for them. Thank you all for your assistance.
