Dropbox shared links are too long
Ever since Dropbox has moved to the sci/fi format for generating links, I've been running into a constant issue of the url links becoming so ridiculously long that websites with linkfilters will dest...

3 months agoI doubt this has anything to do with the change to the scl/fi links or their length. In your example on the Steam site, they seem to be encoding the URL, replacing & with & which is the HTML entity for an ampersand. This is a pretty common thing to happen so those characters aren't read as literal code, instead of just part of a URL. It would be on the site where the links are being used to update their system to handle URLs properly.
This seems more like something you should bring to Steam, asking them to not alter links that you enter into their platform.
