Unable to open Excel files or PDFs as I'm getting an error
Re-booted my computer & it seems to have rectified the issue.

Hey there lynnyoung - sorry to hear about this.
Can you walk me through the exact steps you're taking to do this and clarify it's affecting some files of yours or all?
Also, If you're using the Dropbox desktop app, can you let me know if these files are available offline or online-only perhaps?
Let us know more and we'll take it from there.
