Welcome to our Community, tripbargains.
Are you getting this error message right after you turn your computer on?
Or when you're trying to open the particular file in the screenshot?
Do you remember what you deleted?
Let me know and we'll go from there.

Hi Hannah
If I remember correctly I deleted Desktop 22NJ4DQ from my Dropbox account. How do I get it back?
Thanks

No it's not in the Recycle bin or Trash either on my PC or on Dropbox. I ran out of ideas before I contacted you!

Does that mean that you can't find it in your deleted files page on Dropbox?
How about your events page; do you see anything related to it there?

No zero in the Deleted folder on Dropbox
On the Events page I see this msg but I cannot open it
The computer DESKTOP-22NJ4DQ was linked to your account24/1/2024 9:55 AMbut obviously this is the problem it is not linked somehow
Dropbox is not linked to my PC is the problem and it is being detected by my PC when I start it. How can I link it again?

Hey tripbargains, thanks for the update.
Is the Dropbox application still installed on the computer and signed in to your Dropbox account?

No I tried to remove and reinstall the Dropbox on my PC but it did not make the error msg go away so currently it is not installed. Please send me the link to reinstall it thank you!
