How can I download a video from Dropbox and then upload it to YouTube?
How do I download a video from dropbox onto my desktop to upload to Youtube?
Ok, this is the last way I can think to download a file:
1) Click on the "Share" button, then select "Create a link"
2) Then click "Copy link."
3) Now you will have something like
https://www.dropbox.com/s/1abcdefghijklmn/YOUR-FILE?dl=0
copied to your clipboard. Paste it into your web browser and change the last
...dl=0
to
...dl=1
then go to the web page. It should present you with a download screen.

To download any file from your Dropbox: find the file in your list of Files, click the More Options icon (the three dots), and select "Download."
Easy Peasy!

Another way to download files is by cliking on them so they open in the preview screen then dowloading from the top right corner.

That is the way I downloaded it the first time...Problem is it does not download as a video but as a blank webpage:
- ft08 years agoHelpful | Level 5Are you sure you are downloading a video? Can you play it in the preview screen?

Yes its a video I recorded yesterday and i can play it in preview screen...makes no sense to me why it won't download as a video.

I recorded it with an app on my iphone called promptsmart and downloaded it to dropbox in hopes of downloading to my desktop to edit the name of the video to upload and optimise on youtube...

Do you have the Dropbox app? It syncs all your files to a folder, so you could try looking for it in there.
