How do I hide the sidebar/list column on the left side of the iPad app? Cannot find that option

How do I hide the sidebar? In the iPad app? The current one as of the date of this posting? I cannot find that option anywhere, and if it’s incredibly obvious and I’m overlooking it I will be upset with myself

  • Hey Ubfgii5n, thanks for posting on our Community today.

I'm afraid that there's no way to hide the left sidebar in the Dropbox app on the iPad at the moment.

You're welcome to post an idea about this on our idea board, though.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Apparently this isn't an option, but previewing a PDF on iPad in dropbox is pretty limiting if you can't hid the folder list. This oughta be addressed, IMO.

It seems to sometimes work to tap the 3 horizontal dots in the top middle of the screen, tap the option for split view, and then just tap the Dropbox window that has moved off to the left. It comes back to fullscreen and the sidebar seems to be gone.

Your answer is way better than the one that they provide, but they really should fix this so it's obvious

Link Dropbox to the built-in Files app by Apple and open the file there.
