How to amend the file metadata showing in properties?
My client wants me to amend the information highlighted in yellow. 'Copyright' and 'Creator' shows in Bridge but I am unable to see the 'Artist' part anywhere in my Dropbox or Windows, Mac metadata preview as well as Adobe Bridge.
Question or Issue
Any ideas how to identify those fields and overwrite them?
You will need to download the files and edit on a computer before reuploading. There is no way to do this on Dropbox.

Thanks for the additional information ambphoto - much appreciated.
When you say that the screenshot is coming from Dropbox, could you elaborate a tad or even better share a full-page screenshot so that we can have a better visual?
Also, when it comes to your last question, I'd suggest doing a web search as it would be outside of our remit.
Let us know of any updates!

Hi Megan this is correct. I am aware that metadata amendment needs to take place on the desktop, I am reaching out as the screenshot shared in the message apparently comes from Dropbox. I checked the link and I see 'Artist' listed under File-Specific Metadata bus still, I haven't seen this field in any other metadata information section.
Do you have more informations about this? Is there any chance that 'Artist' field can be named differently in Mac, Windows or Adobe Bridge?Thank you in advance

Hi there, ambphoto, welcome to our Community!
Just to make sure we're aligned here, it sounds like you are not able to find the metadata for the 'Artist' category in Dropbox, locally on Windows or on your Mac, right?
As a first step, would you mind clarifying which platform is the screenshot coming from?
Keep in mind that here's a list of all the file metadata you can view for a file in Dropbox.
However, if you're looking for a way to either edit or remove this info, then you might need to use a third-party app to achieve that.
