If you copy and paste the file to the root directory, does it open there?

Could you try renaming the file itself so that it doesn't have an emoji in it?

I'm not seeing an option to rename the file, attaching the menu I'm seeing below.

Also forgive me, whats the root directory? I tried dragging it int my starred folder, I tried to drag it into the search bar, I also tried to search using the emoji in both Dropbox and Dropbox Paper. no luck 😞

If there isn't any history of the file on the events page, then it's possible that data within that doc is no longer available.

Could you check the normal Dropbox page to see if the file is visible in the structure, and if you have more options to view or duplicate the file?

😞 So sad but looks like its gone forever. I tried to move it first to Starred folder and then Removed it from Starred (hoping it would appear in All Files or Deleted Files but no luck. Also no luck in the normal Dropbox Page.

If you have any other ideas let me know but thanks so much for your help 🙏🏽

Hi MrsPibbX, in one of your screenshots here, I can see a Paper Docs folder.

I don't know if you've mentioned you checked this, but would you mind taking a closer look there, to see if you get any results? Is the file there, by any chance?
