Migrating data to Sharepoint with the Microsoft migration tool

We are attempting to migrate some data to Sharepoint using the Microsoft migration tool.  Following a successful scan, we have a number of error reports, most of which are easy enough to deal with.  However, we have a batch of errors relating to

MLISTING unknown: (409) Conflict: path: path/not_found/

The strange thing is that the record also shows the file path that it cannot find.  How can it know what it supposedly can't find?

Has anyone got any successful experience using the MS migration tool?  If it is reporting a ghost error we are concerned whether it is reporting the rest of the information correctly.

It is Microsoft, after all (spoken with 30 years IT experience working with their garbage products). Good luck!

This sounds like something you should be asking about on Microsoft's support forum. The people there would have more knowledge about their own tool.

We are engaged with their support team as we speak but they don't know the background workings of Dropbox.  The reason for posting here was simply to investigate if anyone else had experienced similar issues or experiences.

Hint from current experience - never assume too much about how much they know about their own migration tool!!

    Thanks anyway
