Multiple users editing same file on dropbox pro

Dear Everyone,

Good Day
We are wondering whether there is a posibility for our company team to work at the same file (saved in dropbox application- not online but downloaded on desktop) at the same time without creating a new copy.

Thank you in advance for your help and support.

Best regards,
Anna

Hi there Anna; welcome to the Community!

Can you please clarify if your company's team will be working on different, personal accounts or if they're going to be part of the same Dropbox for Business Teams account?

If you could also let me know what file types you'd be working on mostly, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks a bunch, Anna.

Thanks for clarifying this for me, Anna.

Since you're on a Dropbox for Business Teams account, you can use the file locking feature instead of having to collaborate and co-ordinate through the Dropbox Badge, then.

Give it a go when you find the chance and let me know if you have any follow up questions.
