My app has been constantly syncing 4 files.
Hi, I´ve been struggling with an issue which I´ve already talked to two persons from tecnical suppor. It´s that I have 4 files that doesn´t stop to sync. I´ve loged out to log in again and let drop box sync my files again, I´ve wated for some days and the issue continues.
I also checked out the Earle releases is off and it is.
Please, could someone help me?
Tjank you in advance.
Wel well, good news. To take off the file from dropbox and put it in again was one of my first test. Now you are asking it I wanted to confirm you but not before testing again and suprisley it wored out. I don´t know how, maybe is something I should have done after I did log out and log in again. Maybe you have a greater explanetion. I´ll keep an eye out.

Hi there @AugustoGoico, sorry to hear about this.
Could you let us know how long has the desktop app been stuck at syncing?
If you could also send us a screenshot of the app's exact status and version as shown in your menu bar, I'd appreciate it. While we're at it, have you rebooted your computer at all lately?
Does that number appear to change or does it remain the same? Are there any sync issues showing in the the options under the avatar on the top right?
Keep me posted!

Hey @AugustoGoico, thanks for the screenshot.
Have you restarted your computer at all, like Megan suggested?
If that doesn't work, try these steps here to fix your hardlinks and permissions and let us know how it goes.

Hanna, thank you for the fast answer, I did the bouth tricks with the Alt + H and it says that the repair was successfully done but it doesn't solve the problem. Always with the same 4 files.
What do you mean with restart, I do shout down the computer every days.

Hey @AugustoGoico, is it possible that the files/folders you can't see locally have some invalid characters that prevent them from syncing?
If you open your Dropbox folder, can you locate these files and check what their syncing icons are?
- AugustoGoico2 years agoHelpful | Level 6
Hi Megan, the characters are alright. It´s strange because it started some day, before this there was no problem with this files.
If I set the files to be without connection is ok with green circule but if I set them to be online it doesn´t get the cloud like the others.
I put the file anywhere inside the dropbox folder and is the same.

Hey @AugustoGoico, do you try to double click the files in question, in order for them to get downloaded locally, or right click on them and then select "available offline"?
- AugustoGoico2 years agoHelpful | Level 6
Yes, I´ve already done this. I even put the files out the folder and get it in again and at the end is the same.

Hey @AugustoGoico, do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?
Would you mind clarifying the Dropbox version that you're using on your end? You should be able to find the app's version by hovering your mouse over the little Dropbox icon on your menu bar, next to your WiFi.

This is the version I´m using and I don´t have any vpn and the only security software I´m using is the one which comes with Windows.
