Only one tab displaying in spreadsheets stored on Dropbox
This morning when we open our spreadsheets on dropbox only one tab is being displayed and we can't access the other tabs on the sheet , if we download the file and open it all tabs are displayed. They spreadsheets are saved as xlsx files on Dropbox.
Any idea's why this has suddenly happened ? All were fine yesterday
Hi everybody,
Our team has made some changes, so please let us know if you're still having issues.
To clarify: there is no data corruption (i.e., we are not treating the sheets as a range within a single file). This behavior seems to be our Google editor deprecation banner "hiding the sheets tab," and we'll be adjusting this soon.
Thank you for your feedback!
Sam

Sorry to hear the issue's back, LuNoel.
Can you please take one more step with me, and check this via an incognito window instead? I'd like to see if you'll have a different experience from there.

Same thing happened on the incognito window. I get a square looking sad face icon when i try to open another tab in the excel workbook.

Thanks for giving this a go! I’d like us to try one more thing together, and if this doesn’t work either, let me know, and we’ll log a ticket for you instead.
What I want you to do is to hit Shift + click reload button, or command + shift + R (if you’re using macOS), or else, a hard reload of the page to see if that will help this time.

Hi Nancy: That is NOT a viable option. The spreadsheet that is in Dropbox, that has the issue of all the tabs not opening, is linked to https://www.tilecertifications.com/ (then click ACT Certified Installers Directory in the menu at the top of the webpage). We cannot tell people to go through those steps to open. It should just open like it used to. (You can click on the link and click on the directory and see what I am talking about.) ~ Thank you.

Hey LuNoel, these steps will basically just do a hard reload of the page.
If you're personally having this issue, can you please try just on your end, and let us know if it helps you?

What steps are you talking about? I have already tried everything that was suggested. Even when I open that excel workbook https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/n97jl8wv1icjkdpcyr7ka/2023-12-12-ACT_BAC-CTEF_Master-List_for_ea_Cert_protected.xlsx?rlkey=uzilq1wow9dq9q4pogfgbu72o&dl=0 in my own Dropbox folder the same thing happens. And, since a lot of others on this thread have been having the same problem, I don't think the problem is on my end. Please resolve. Thank you.

Hey LuNoel - sorry to jump in here, but did you try clearing your browser's cache or trying another browser?
- LuNoel2 years agoHelpful | Level 5
I cleared my cache and browser history in Chrome a number of times. I just tried to open in the Microsoft Edge browser and the same result, only the first tab opens. Did you guys try to open via the link I sent previously?

I see, thanks for the additional info LuNoel
Would it be OK if we sent you an email to look further into this issue internally?

Did you open the excel workbook that I gave you a link for on your end?
Did all the tabs open?
- Yes, you can email me at [removed per the Dropbox Community Guidelines]. However, I am going out of town for Christmas and will not be able to review same until after the first of the year.
