"Save as" results in Error "API function "files/list_folder""

Hi

On my Android when I try to do a "Save as" I have started getting an error notice and the file won't save.

mj2: Error in call to API function "files/list_folder"

I've reinstalled DB app but no change.

Thanks

Tim

Hiya. Just tried that and it's still the same. It's doing the same on my Lenovo tablet too. It's only started happening this last week and I've used DB for years. My current mobile is 4½ years old! It only happens if I use the save as with the Dropbox option, saying the app is disabled.

Thanks for the heads up, and the screenshot Timro.

That's odd. When did this first start happening?

If I were you, I'd also try to clear the app's cache (you can do this by accessing the app, clicking the gear icon on the top right part, and if you scroll to the bottom the option should be there) and try again.

While you're at it, you might want to reboot your device too.

Let me know if you still get the same results.

Ah, on my tablet I can see the whole error message which goes on to say that the app is currently disabled! 🤷

    Hi Megan, and thanks.

It's DB version 412.2.2 and my phone is a Galaxy Note 10. Android 11, I believe.

It has started doing it with my spreadsheets (I use WPS Software) and everything works as usual on my laptop.

I'm not sure how to send a screenshot in here but the error message I get is the one in my question.

    Thank you

    Tim

Hey Timro, let's jump right into this!

Does this happen when you try to save a specific file? Have you tried a different one?

Also, would you mind clarifying your device's OS, along with the Dropbox version that you're using?

If you could send me a screenshot of the error, that'd be most welcome.

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
