'Save to Device' not allowing me to save a file into an app on my iPhone

For some months I've been using the "Save to device" function in the Dropbox iPhone app to send audio files from Dropbox to Pocket Casts so I can listen to them there. But lately it's not working rig...

    Hi elrich, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

     

    The option to 'Save to device' is only for saving files directly into the file system on your device, and not for sending a file to an app.

     

    The second method would be the correct way to save a file into another app, as mentioned in this article.
