Thumbnails aren't showing anymore when using the desktop app on Windows 10.
Has been like this for a while. Very annoying when trying to sort pictures. Thumnails show fine on other picture folders.
I use version v230.4.8797.
I use Windows 10 Home, 22H2

I'm not sure exactly when it changed but believe it was around the version that started showing these icons:
Also, I just checked that it only happens in my Camera Uploads folder. If I go into Apps then previews are shown. This is my Camera Uploads folder:
And my syncing status says: Up to date

Thanks for the visual, JonesDK! Iâm guessing youâve restarted your computer in the meantime and the thumbnails are still not showing. Correct?
As for the syncing icon next to your files, it looks like youâre seeing this one.
As a test, can you right-click on one of the files within your âCamera uploadsâ folder and select the âMake online-onlyâ option? After that, please make the file available offline once again by right-clicking on it. Does the thumbnail return in this case?
