Hi all,
Thank you all for your patience while we worked on a fix to this problem. We've had our engineers working on this and the good news is the problem has been fixed. Please try the shared links to your videos again and you should find that playback works correctly - if you are still finding video files that are failing to playback on our website, please let us know here and we will investigate further.
Apologies for any inconvenience this caused, and thank you for using Dropbox!
Thanks,
Frank

mig42: Can you let me know the ticket number of your support request, so I can investigate if the issue you are facing is related to Sink's issue?

I can't believe this is only affecting 2 people. Everything was working fine till the update were made by dropbox.

This is also happening to me. I cannot preview new .mov files, though the dl=0 vs. raw=1 worked for me.
I tried multiple different export files from Final Cut, but all have the same issue.

Hi all,
Unfortunately I don't have any additional information to share at this moment - our engineering team are still investigating the underlying cause behind why some video file types are failing to preview on most major web browsers (Internet Explorer does not seem to be affected). I understand that this problem is highly frustrating, but please be assured that we are working hard behind the scenes to get this resolved.
As soon as I have more information I'll update this post, in the meantime thank you all for for flagging this and for your patience while we work on a fix.

Since there does'nt appear to be a quick fix, is there a short term solution that I can use? Things are piling up becuase I can't share with my boss who is normally on the go and needs to view from the cellphone. Downloading is not an option.
