2 files disappeared right in front of my eyes and I can't find them anywhere.

I seriously can't believe this. Two personal files of mine (videos) from January 2016 and February 2016 just disappeared in front of my own eyes. They are not in "Deleted Files" or any other folder...

Dropbox can only do what its told to do by another device. So something connected to your account has caused that deletion. 

How do you mean 'in front of your eyes'? 

What does www.dropbox.com/events show?

Were they in a share? If so are you still in it at www.dropbox.com/share
