Admin required to delete shared files
When I get a Dropbox file from someone else that gives only the option to add it to my dropbox, I am then unable to delete it from my dropbox - I get an admin login box that pops up. It may be a Mic...

Delete option is greyed out on that page.

3 years agoHi Adryana, this looks to be a Windows prompt, not a Dropbox one.
Are you on a company-managed device, or a personal machine? Have you previously amended the UAC settings to make it more sensitive?

We're going to run it by our IT people. I'm sure that I did (or someone else company-wide did ) make a change to some setting that caused these shared files to require approvals for deletion.
