All of my files are missing? How did this happen?

I went into a folder of company artwork for 2 years, and the folders are empty?? about a dozen folders 

Can someone help?  Did they get deleted by Dropbox?  Did someone get in unauthorized?

    Are you referring to files in a shared folder, a team folder, or a private folder on your Dropbox account?

    Do you see any recent events or deleted files in order to restore the missing content?
