Can I restore deleted files after cancelling a mass deletion through the desktop app?
Hello
I have an organization dropbox folder that was somewhat back up to my private PC-s. I went into that private PC-s desktop Dropbox folder and selected all the files and folders and pressed delete. Now the deleting process took such a long (it was over 100 GB of files) time that I started doubting my actions and pressed cancel on the process. Have all those files now been deleted for all the organization members local computers?
The local PC now says it want to sync like 180+ K files but I paused it. Also if I go to dropbox.com then the "Deleted files" section is empty if I select todays date.
How should I proceed? Should I continue the sync on the PC?

The only way to solve that is let the syncing finish on the PC - if not you risk corrupting all database files within Dropbox (across the account). Let it do it and then if you need to rewind do that afterwards

Thanks for the reply. I'll continue the sync then but how am I going to rewind the folders/files. Through the "Deleted files" section in the web version?
And do I understand correctly that deleting those files locally from my PC, did not have any effect on other members local files?

You can rewind via the website.
And it depends. If you deleted shared folders then you've also deleted for everybody in that share. If it wasn't it just impacts you
